On Monday, 16th July, RPF Chairman Paul Kagame expressed heartfelt gratitude to Rwandans for their continuous trust in him after partial results put him in the lead of presidential elections with 99.15% of the votes.
President Kagame emphasized the significance of the electoral process, campaign, and results, highlighting the deep trust between him and the people. “This election symbolizes trust, for which I thank you,” he stated, acknowledging that trust is built over time through consistent actions and shared experiences.
“With this trust and all these years we have spent together solving many difficult challenges, was there ever a time when you saw me at a loss for solutions? I am never defeated by challenges,” he added.
President Kagame assured citizens that this trust will always be the foundation for overcoming any future obstacles, reinforcing his confidence in their collective strength.
