While addressing his second rally in Nyagatare District on Saturday, the Chairman of RPF Inkotanyi and the party’s flag bearer in the forthcoming presidential elections said that Nyagatare will see significant transformation in the next seven years.
Speaking at the University of Rwanda Nyagatare Campus premises, the Chairman said that transforming Nyagatare will be achieved because of the foundation that has already been laid.
“We already have where to start from. Vote for the RPF to ensure we transform this district to such an extent that everyone will even more proud of being a resident,” the Chairman said.
Nearly 200,000 residents from at least eight sectors attended the rally.
“I want to thank you for your continued support towards our country’s development. Come August 4, let us cast our vote for continued progress, unity, security and good governance,” he said.
Nyagatare residents are particularly happy with some of the major capital intensive projects that were taken to their districts key among them being the East African Granite Industries, the largest granites producing factory in the region.
Another project is EPIC Hotel, a four-star facility that was set up to narrow the accommodation gaps in the district, besides several agriculture projects that have benefitted tens of thousands of households.
