The Secretary General of the Rwandan Patriotic Front (RPF-Inkotanyi), Ambassador Wellars Gasamagera, participated in the National Congress of Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM), held in Dodoma, Tanzania.
The two-day congress brought together party leaders and delegates to assess the implementation of the 2020–2025 party manifesto and to adopt a new manifesto that will guide CCM’s agenda for the 2025–2030 period. The congress comes ahead of Tanzania’s general elections scheduled for October 2025.
In his address, Ambassador Gasamagera commended the historic and brotherly ties between the RPF and CCM, emphasizing that the cooperation between the two political organizations continues to produce tangible development outcomes that benefit the people of both Rwanda and Tanzania.
He extended his best wishes to CCM as it heads into the upcoming elections, reaffirming the RPF’s support for continued collaboration and regional solidarity.
